PNG vanilla grower holding vanilla planifolia cutting

Panashpanash was founded on a simple conviction: Switzerland's artisan chocolatiers and patisseries deserve access to vanilla that tells a story. Not commodity vanilla, not blended origins — but beans from a single, traceable source, harvested and cured with care.

We work directly with smallholder farmers in Papua New Guinea, handling import logistics, Swiss customs clearance, and quality verification so your kitchen receives only what has passed our standards.

Whether you are crafting a signature ganache, a fine pastry cream, or a limited-edition confection, provenance matters to your customers. We make it possible to claim it.

Traditional PNG grower in vanilla plantation
Vanilla planifolia · Papua New Guinea

PNG vanilla is among the world's rarest. Grown in isolated highland valleys by farming communities who have cultivated the orchid for generations, the beans develop a distinctive character: deeply floral, with warm spice notes and a long, clean finish quite unlike Madagascan or Tahitian varieties.

Volcanic soils, high altitude, and traditional hand-pollination create conditions that cannot be replicated at commercial scale. The result is vanilla with genuine terroir — something your customers can taste and you can speak to with confidence.

We source from growers we know personally, at prices that sustain their work. The quality of what arrives in your kitchen depends entirely on the conditions in which it was grown.
